The service

CartLink provides checkout-link tools for sellers to create payable cart links, display grouped payment breakdowns, collect customer details for payment purposes, and issue receipts.

2.

CartLink role

CartLink is not the seller, merchant of record, insurer, payment gateway, bank, or fulfilment provider. Sellers remain responsible for their products, services, customer promises, refunds, cancellations, tax treatment, regulatory compliance, and customer support.

3.

Seller responsibilities

Sellers are responsible for accurate checkout details, pricing, taxes, payment instructions, refund handling, customer communication, and compliance with laws that apply to their business.

Sellers are responsible for ensuring they have the right to collect, use, and process customer information entered through CartLink checkout pages.

4.

Public checkout links

Public checkout links may be accessible to anyone with the link. Sellers should avoid sharing links with unauthorised parties and should cancel links that are incorrect, expired, or no longer valid.

5.

Payments and payment providers

Manual payments are not treated as paid until the seller or an authorised user verifies them. Gateway payments are subject to the relevant payment provider's rules, fees, and availability.

Gateway payments may depend on third-party providers such as ToyyibPay. CartLink is not responsible for provider downtime, rejected payments, settlement delays, account holds, provider fees, or provider policy decisions.

6.

Refunds and disputes

Refunds, cancellations, chargebacks, and disputes between sellers and their customers are the seller's responsibility unless required otherwise by law.

CartLink subscription payments are generally non-refundable once paid, unless required by law or approved by CartLink in writing.

7.

Accounts and workspaces

Users must keep login credentials secure and only invite authorised people into a workspace. Workspace owners are responsible for actions taken by their members.

8.

Subscription plans, expiry, and limits

Paid plans are prepaid periods unless otherwise stated. Entitlements may limit users, stores, checkouts, analytics, branding removal, reports, or API access.

If a paid subscription expires, the workspace may continue on the Free plan with existing data preserved. Some actions, including creating new checkouts, adding users, changing roles, removing branding, or accessing analytics, may be restricted based on the active plan.

9.

Referral and analytics tracking

CartLink may log checkout page views, payment actions, receipt downloads, referral clicks, device information, IP address, user agent, and referer URL for security, analytics, product improvement, and seller reporting.

10.

Acceptable use

Users must not use CartLink for unlawful goods, misleading payment requests, fraud, spam, abusive content, or activity that harms the platform or other users.

11.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, CartLink is provided as-is and liability is limited to amounts paid for the service in the relevant subscription period.
